Trading conditions for goods

1.    General information

2.    Payment

All prices on www.MillersRoast.dk are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT. We accept payment with Dankort, Visa, Mastercard. The payment is only deducted from your account when the item has been dispatched.

3.    Delivery

Delivery of goods from Miller’s Roast is considered complete when the consumer has received the goods. We check the orders that have arrived once a week (preferably Sunday) and generally ship the goods on Monday. Delivery time varies, but the consumer should have received goods no later than a week after ordering.

Miller’s Roast uses GLS and DAO as a carrier. You can choose between Private delivery and delivery to PakkeShop. In addition, we also offer collection in the Shop by appointment.

4.    If you regret your purchase (right of withdrawal)

You have a 14-day right of cancellation when you shop with us.

The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you;

  • a) item have been received
  • b) gets the last item in physical possession, in the case of an agreement for several different goods which are ordered in one order, and which are delivered individually
  • c) gets the last lot, or the last part in physical possession, when it concerns an agreement for the delivery of a product consisting of several lots or parts
  • d) gets the first item in physical possession when it comes to agreements about regular delivery of goods over a certain period (point d is inserted only in the case of agreements on regular delivery of goods)

You must notify us within 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase. The notification must be given at shop@millersroast.dk. In your message you must make us clearly aware that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. You can also choose to use our standard cancellation form and send with return. You will find it sent with yours order confirmation/item and at the bottom of this document/here (insert link to standard cancellation form)

You cannot undo this by simply refusing receipt of the item without at the same time giving us a clear indication notice of this.

5.    Return

You must send your order back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You must bear the direct expenses in connection with return of the item.

When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packed.

You bear the risk for the goods from the time of delivery of the goods.

Due to their nature, certain goods cannot be returned by normal post. This applies to (insert product types).

The costs for return are expected to amount to approx. DKK 80.

6.    Goods excluded from the right of withdrawal

The following product types are exempt from the right of withdrawal:

  1. agreements covered by § 7, subsection 2:
    1. a, – Delivery of food, beverages, or other goods for the household’s current consumption, which is delivered physically to the consumer’s home, place of residence or workplace by a trader who frequently and regularly serves fixed routes,
    1. b, – Where the goods and the purchase price are exchanged at the same time as an agreement is concluded outside the trader’s place of business if the purchase price does not exceed DKK 350.
  2. Delivery of goods which are manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications or have been given one distinct personal touch,
  3. Delivery of goods which can be assumed to deteriorate or become obsolete quickly,
  4. Delivery of sealed goods which for reasons of health protection or hygiene are not suitable for return and where the seal has been broken after delivery.
  5. Delivery of goods which, due to their nature, are inextricably mixed with other goods during delivery,
  6. Delivery of newspapers, periodicals or magazines, with the exception of subscription agreements, delivery of such publications,

You lose your right of withdrawal if;

– you break the seal on goods, such as for health protection or hygiene purposes reasons not suitable to be returned.

7.    The condition of the item when you send it back

You are liable for any deterioration in the product’s value due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature of the product, its characteristics, and the way it functions. In other words – you can try the product in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.

If the item is tried on in addition to what is described above, we consider it used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only get a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the goods.

To receive the full purchase amount back, you must therefore do the same as you can in a physical store.

8.    What do we do with your personal information (personal data policy)

For you to enter into an agreement with us, we need the following information:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email address

We register your personal data with the aim of being able to deliver the goods to you.

Personal information is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. The information will not be sold or passed on to third parties without the consent of the customer.

9.    Access to complaints

If you want to complain about your purchase, you must contact Rasmus Miller (Owner). If we do not succeed in finding a solution, you can lodge a complaint with relevant boards in the area, if the conditions for this are met. Miller’s Roast follows Danish rules for consumer protection and EU rules for online dispute resolution. Complaints can be submitted to the Center for Complaint Resolution, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg. In addition, consumers can submit complaints via the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR) at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
